Co-teaching models have been used throughout K-12 to help accommodate students. Researchers have found
this model to also be benefcial when trying to help instructors learn how to teach. Many faculty members at the
post-secondary level may not be as equipped to teach students at the college level. This model has also shown
success in helping instructors learn about successful teaching strategies. An added beneft is helping the faculty
member become part of the faculty and college as a whole. This roundtable discussion will cover example models
of co-teaching as well as the research behind these ideas.
