The School of Applied Computing at Sheridan College has a long and proud history with capstone projects for
senior students. As in other institutions the concept and delivery of capstone projects revolves around providing
students with an opportunity to undertake a challenging fnal year activity that requires the clear demonstration of
the breadth and depth of their learning. Sheridan extends this model and addresses the administrative challenges
of providing students with real client projects that enhance the learning experience. The solution involves a unique
sustainable Capstone Based Learning (CBL) approach to industry involvement in curriculum.
