Meet our distinguished alumna, Ceilidh Millar, 2013 BCIT Outstanding
Student Leadership Award recipient, recent Broadcast Journalism
graduate, and advocate.

Ceilidh has made an impact on countless lives by promoting positive change in areas
such as peer bullying and civic consciousness – from being an ambassador for Free
the Children to spearheading Stand Up, Speak Up, an anti-bullying video project. She
has been recognized with BCIT’s prestigious W. Garfi eld Weston entrance award and
a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Ceilidh joins a long list of distinguished student leaders who make a di˜ erence in their
communities.

From industry to the classroom, BCIT is building leaders every day.
